'Musku' or 'Muskoli' is a traditional veil in red and gold that is draped over the head and shoulders of the bride during the 'muhurta' ceremony of a Kodava wedding. The muskoli is often covered with intricate embroidery designs to enhance its appearance and also increase the aura of the bride. A well designed muskoli is often sought by Kodava brides.
